Potterton Netaheat 10/16 Electronic cuts out?

My boiler was not used for 2 months. When I turned it back on it fired up and ran for about 1 minute until it was hot to the touch and making a 'boiling' sound, before cutting out. Neither radiators nor hot water were heated in this time. The boiler would not restart despite thermostat being right up etc. If I wait an hour or so and restart it will do the same thing. Any ideas?

Thank you, it was the pump. I turned the speed selector up to 3 and it started working again. Just needed a kick to get started.

turn up your wall stat
boiler should kick in
when boiler running check the pump to see if it's running.
which will probably be located in your cupboard with your copper cylinder.
also check the diverter valve above the pump it should have a lever on the end push that across afew times may be sticking.

sounds like you may have a sticking pump because of not being used.
