how do i repair the abs light as it stays on all the time?

i have a 1999 vuxhall vectra estate and the abs light stays on at all times when i'm driving. what do i have to do to repair it

Take a look behind each wheel and you should find a toothed metal ring adjacent to a small electrical sensor. Clean off any excessive mud etc and this may solve the problem.
