check and see if your drain pump is clogged. i know in my personal experiance with whirlpool i have had this happen a few times then check the belt tension and tighten or replace belt if it is "slick" (i have used belt dressing from a automotive store but don't suggest it) and if all else fails check or have a professional check the silenoid at the motor (you need a volt ohm meter for this)
