WHIRLPOOL- half way through it stops?

Hi,
My washing machine a whirlpool sixth sense AWM 8101-6K
Stops half way through a wash. the Start/pause button flashes and the spin lights indicators flashes 0 and 100 both flash together.
if i press start or any other button nothing happens but if i swith it off at the mains for just a moment and then on again. and then press start it starts from where it left off.

The reason it restarts is because you are re-setting the fault by switching off the power. I am not familiar with this particular make and model, so unfortunately cannot tell you what the fault is. A search of their website might help, if they have the fault codes publicly available. Are you sure you have the correct model, as I searched the site at http://www.whirlpool.com/custserv/index.jsp and came up with nothing.
