insure the drill is in setting 1 (slow speed ) and the torque setting is at it's highest number or if it has it set to drill also some drills ie makita 844d need to be secured in a vice using soft jaws or similer to prevent from damaging the drill body and using a hammer use a quick but hard swing against the allenkey 1/2/or 3 blows like this will remove the chuck
