Hi,
Resetting the trip counter should be just a press of the button, but you might find that actually resetting the mileage is a bit trickier. The reason being, it is actually illegal in some cases.(winding back to sell at a lower mileage for instance). If you have changed a dash component and it makes your car look as if it has done more miles than it actually has, why don't you note your actual mileage in your log book with the reading on your new dial. Keep the receipt as well and you have proof of actual mileage. (well almost!)
