How can I replace the knob that shuts off the gasoline from going to the carburetor? I had it tuned up recently and put in a new carburetor but it keeps shutting off after only a few minutes. The knob does feel different when I turn it so I think it is not opeing the fuel line correctly.

Anne, it could be the high speed carburator fuel jet opening. It should be located at the bottom of the fuel bow and if you turn counterclock wise, a bit at a time, it should gradually get to the right fuel/air mixture. It happened to mine and took me several tries to get it. Good luck
