how do I fix my creda dryer model 37690E, CDV242?
Dryer will not start at automatic setting (encircled E), Air Fluff or Wrinkle Guard. However, it runs by itself and buzzes continuously if you select the timed settings of 30, 20 or 10 minutes. There is no heat, and the dryer does not stop when you open the door. I cannot locate a repair service in the North Bay area of CA that will help. The AZ hotline thinks it's the timer. Don't know whether to invest the $$ of buy a new one...
