2.2 eco-tec petrol 16 V,?

2.2 eco-tec petrol 16 V. Wireing loome was with the replacement engine. all plugs are on. Only one not connected, which is to do with electronic gear box switch. which my car doesn't have as the engine is a year newer. so can't wire this one up to nothing. everything worked with a emobiliser before engine removal, when key fob is swiped on steering columb red light goes off, telling me that the alarm is switched off, but no spark and fuel pump noise on egnition which tells me that the mobiliser is in shut down mode. Any Help Thanks

The ECU is running the pump all the time the ignition is on because it's not recognising the sensor signals. Can you change the engine wiring loom for the one off the old engine?
