Wires that should be running electricity thru an electric part are "shorted" together. Unplug the dryer and open the panel that the electric wires go into. You should see a metal block where the wires are screwed into another set of wires... this sometimes blows apart (you'll see misshappen metal and burn marks). Replace or bypass this "terminal block" if it is damaged, and cut back the wires 'till they are unburned. If this block is not burned, then you need to look for a schematic (usually folded paperwork or a big sticker inside an inner panel). You can disconnect parts and plug the cord back in until the breaker stops blowing... this will show you which part is shorted. DO NOT let any bare wires touch anything when you plug it back in, or you'll make loud sparks and maybe damage more parts. good luck!
