Search results hijacked?

When i click on search results from google, altavista etc i get hijacked to fresh water or search-daily sites. Have run spyware terminator and another prog which found some trojans and deleted them but i still have the problem. Must be deep in the laptop but i'm a novice, can anyone help please.
ps if anyone else is in the same position, with google click on "cached pages" instead of search results and you don,t get hijacked.

There still seems to be some trojan remnants hidden in your computer - when I had mine it took me almost two weeks to find all the files and dig them out. The only suggestion I have is to let one or both of your terminator programs dowload updates, then rescan your computer - the updates seemed to catch bits of the Trojan that a scan even the day before had missed (I went through this cycle about four times, and even now I'm only pretty sure I got it all.)

If you want a backup program Windows Defender is pretty good, and can be downloaded for free at www.microsoft.com/athome/ security/spyware/software/default.mspx. I have it tag-teaming with the latest McAfee on my computer, and it still manages to catch stuff.
