Stihl 028 saw won't rotate despite the engine running beautifully?

Hi. I have a Stihl 028 which ran fine for a while (though did cut out on occasion on acceleration) - first time it's been used in a while. then the saw wouldn't rotate. Tightened it up and noticed the sprocket that the chain sits on doesn't rotate when the motor is started.
Thanks for any help

HI. IS THE CHAIN STOP PULLED BACK OK? IF IT IT THEN IT MUST BE THE CLUCH.

Either the clutch centre has sheared or the crank end has sheared o th teeth on the sprocket have detonated or the chain has ben incorrectly located on the sprocket or even the chain may be seized in bar. Good luck!
