My diesel 2l vauxhall vectra is not starting. Although it sounds like a battery problem the battery has been checked and is fine. she trys to start and she fires but just wont start it is a direct injection high presure turbo the person i bought it of said the leak off pipes were changed so i dont know were they are to check. we used some easy start to get the car starting i was so bussing though it was fixed but it want the car would not rev at all foot to the floor with the accelerator... it is an electronicaly controled accelerator. but the thing is the car dont even idle well it does for about 30 seconds.

I had that problem last winter.
It did turn out to be the leak off pipes... I think....I know nothing about cars but it was the small rubber pipes that run off the injectors, I think there are 3 and one bunged one, but I was having exactly the same problems, mine would start, eventually but not rev up at all and just cut out, drove me nuts, but I brought a set of pipes from ebay for a fiver and had them fitted. which cured it
