John Deere L130 is melting electric PTO switches?

Just out of the blue my 2005 L130 melted the electric PTO switch. Bought a new one and that one got hot also. The electric clutch comes in easily but drops out after the switch problem occurs. Have checked the wiring (fine) and the harness plugs (fine). Has anyone had to replace the electric clutch? Any other ideas?

Mine is acting up too. But I found that the wires were too long going to the clutch and the power wire had worn through and shorted out on the top of the clutch. I'm currently debating about whether to replace the clutch. My relay may have shorted, because I've got continuity across pins I don't think I should have. But I can't find an electrical diagram so I guess I'm just going to have to replace the relay and if that doesn't do it, then I'll have to do the clutch. Good luck to you
