Once the old cable is out, The new cable is easy to install, just slot it into the holder and connect the end under the mower first then the spring at the handle then slot the adjuster into its possition and adjust the cable to suit. If the rotostop disc is worn out, it will still not work. the symptom of a worn disc is that the mower becomes very hard to start with lots of drag on the pull cord. if you engage the blade drive first, the mower will pull start easily. If this has happened to you, replace the roto-stop disc too. you will need to remove the top cowling of the engine to hold the flywheel while you undo/do up the centre bolt on the roto-stop unit. ALWAYS REMOVE THE PLUG-CAP BEFORE WORKING ON THE BLADE! i hate the sight of blood ;)
