My Peugeot 405 TD (with aircon) Sump is holed?

Is it a huge job to change it.
How long would it take a mechanic?
Does the engine and gearbox have to be removed to do it?
It is the model with the alloy sump tray.

I have the same problem, can an ally sump be welded i am told it is possible.

with aircon you have an alloy sump,yes the engine does
have to come out,2-3 days

If it was mine, I'd try to repair it. Chemical Metal (can't remember who makes it) goes on a little like bodyfiller, but it dries rock hard and is heat/oil resistant. I've used it to fix all sorts of things. I think Halfords sell it.
