how can i fix vtech 'my first laptop'?

the batteries corroded in battery compartment, i have tried to clean it but one of the springs snapped off where you put the batteries. can this be fixed or would it be cheaper to buy a new one? its only a couple of years old.

my vtech laptop is not working ,if press power on it does not start.i have ac adapter for my laptop so i know battery is not a problem,please help .

my vtech my laptop one of the black wires come out of the mouse it still works on some games but not on the left and right is it worth having it repair
