the power light on my shower does not come on when switched on. All the connections seem ok and must be connected as when the power is switched off at the ceiling switch and the shower switched on the water will not run.When switched on at the ceiling switch it runs but only cold. Any answers?

Yes mine is the same, its time to replace it> the water has probably blocked the pipe work reducing flow and as a safety device if the pressure is too low it will not allow the swith inside to be activated because it can burn the user. so as it as sealed unit water heater inside you cant really descale it. perhaps think about getting an inline water descaler filter before you ruin your next shower. hope this helps
