How do I get my Radiator Fan Working again?

My Radiator Fan isn't working and the engine is heating up really quickly. How do I get the Fan up and running again so that my car doesn't overheat? I have got an OPEL Astra 1.6.

The switch for the fan should be in the radiator. very common to fail.

Richard ....... you'll need to disconnect the fan electrically and feed 12V from the battery to one pin and connect an earth to the chassis on the other pin. The fan should run. If it doesn't, then you have a "duff" fan motor. If it does, then check the fuses or change the temp sensor normally located around the inlet manifold area.
