I have a new heating element for my top oven grill on my Diplomat double oven. I have removed the back plate and have found 4 wires 2 blue (interconnected) one grey and one other. Can someone tell me in what order the wires connect -viewed from the back of the oven

why don't you just swap the element wire for wire ?.thats what service enginners do. but if you have removed all the wires without noting the position of them all just try this.
starting from the left as you look at it from the back go
blue/blue/ grey/ then the other /.then turn the grill setting on.to test it
if the outer element comes on when the grill should come on just swap the places of the grey and other cable. as long as you keep the
the 2 interconnecting blues on the 2 left element tags you can't go wrong. as the element is a 2 run element the inner run of element works the grill .the outer run of element is for the oven function
