hi the clutch cable on my v reg transit van snapped i have fitted a new one but still have no clutch can anyone give me some advice on what i have done wrong

ive just added an new clutch and recon gear box, i have the the same problem i had to ad a manual clutch adjuster
over cranking the clutch ratchet using a bolt and foot through the pedal
i expect the clutch cable is wrong for the new gear box and clutch, its not an original cable

im hoping ordering a new clutch cable from ford using the chassy number will solve the problem

more news as i progress :S
