How can I fix my WM24 hotpoint washing machine?

My washer keeps blowing the fuse in the plug. I have changed the motor brushes ant the on off switch but there appears to be a spark on the top of the motor armature,

Any thoughts?

chck your motor windings also check for an earth fault useing an mege meter or simalar you can check motor with this as well .
