hotpoint TS12P not heating?

hi my tumble dryer is not blowing out heat, i have cleared the filters, checked everything and i have a feeling it is the heating element that has gone, my problem is this, i wouldnt know what an element looked like if it sat in my lap, so where is it located and is it dangerous to fiddle with these things or should i just ditch the tumble and buy a new one?

thanks for any help on this

thought as much, cheers for your help

it looks like your element has blown or also check the thermostats as well. You can buy one from CPC.co.uk for £11 plus VAT and handling. It is accessed by removing the screws from the back panel, look for any obvious signs like burnt marks or overheating.
