AEG Induction Error E3 - has happened twice in two years?

AEG E3 error has happened 3 times in 18 months, I was told the same thing, but the replacement board was going to take 3 months so I bought a new hob the first time, the second time I was messing with all the switch options when it started again, and then it worked fine for 6 months. Has literally, 2 hours ago, blown again, switching on whilst covering various of the touch switches led to an E- error, then a few other attempts and the Electronics are now working. BUT this time, although the Electronics claims that power is being applied, there is no power to any of the hobs. Tomorrow I will dismantle it if I get the time, and see if there is a power fuse built in somewhere. I'll let you know what happens whenever I get around to it.

Hi John,

I've just had the same thing happen to my 67670 KF-N. I can't seem to find any service manuals online to help diagnose 'E3'. I get the impression it's some sort of power cut-out/fuse problem. Did you have any luck?

AEG are closed now, but I'll give them a call in the morning.

Thanks.
