Is the water in the Zanussi Aquasave DW24 supposed to get hot?

Just bought one of these older dishwashers and plumbed it in and the element is getting hot but it doesn't seem that the water is. Is it a cold washing dishwasher? No instruction manual to consult!!

Dear Ross, I've got the same machine without a manual but Yes, the water is supposed to get heated by that hot element so as long as U put it on the Longest washing programme it will heat.
