LEAKING ADJUSTABLE SHOCK ON MITSUBISHI PAJERO?

I have an mitsubishi pajero 1992 model with a leaking shock on the rear dont know best way to fix it do i change the shock but dont know if it has broken away from part holding it on to car

Shocks are not repairable you change them and you change them in pairs. If you shock had broken away then one end of it would be flapping in the wind. BTW it is often easier to have them changed professionally because the guys in the workshop will have air powered nut guns. They will do them in minutes - you could take hours.
