I have just done a full scan on my laptop, and there is only one backdoor virus threat ...l..Rantzy? how can I get rid of it
or mend it.

different viruses do different things
a backdoor is a file copied its self into a other file and some times the virus will delete its self after its in a other file/s causing problems with systems files or other important files
if you know where the file/s is/are then scan it/them
then scan windows files
