The original fault was a faulty door lock mechanism which blew the mains fuse. Replacing the door lock fixed that problem but now the dryer does not dry (does not seem to heat up at all). Could this be another fuse blown somewhere inside the machine or will this be the element itself. If so can I easily replace it.

Very likely to be blown thermal fuse, same happened to our 126. fixed by engineer but a job you could easily do yourself if you remove the machine lid
