one of my eyes on my good fishing pole came off does any one know now to repair it? The eye is the round loop you thread the fishing line through.I've tryed to find a fishing repair shop close to my area in OR,cant locate one Please help!!!! need it now for salmon fishing.

I`ve used 6 lb line before, wrapped neatly, held taught (knot NOT necessary) then applied super glue evenly around the whipped line instead of varnish.

WORKED A TREAT & LOOKED GREAT !!!

After all, it`s not rocket science (bit like fishing really) !!!

you need to find a general tackleshop & buy a eye/ring & also some "whipping thread" fix the ring in place with a sml amount of tape, then make a loop in the thread & lay it on the leg of the ring, then wind the thread away from the ring making sure to leave the loop showing a bit when done cut the thread & pass the end through the loop now pull the loop back & this will tie off the thread paint with clear varnish when done (not easy)
