mondeo wont start?

i stopped my car in the normal way,but when i tried to start it , it just turned over but wouldn"t ignite. its pumping petrol through and is sparking well,could it be the immobiliser?

i found out what it was.......THE FUSE FOR THE IMMOBILISER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......I thought it was something to do with the immobiliser !!!!!!
