I don't know the correct names for the pipes but under your boiler ther should be a silver flexi-pipe (u-shape) which joines on to two copper pipes, on one of the pipes there should be a tap/valve push it upwards, if you hear water rushing on to the other side then you've done it right, the pressure of your boiler should rise instantly.
