how do i replace the fuel pump on a 406 peugeot estate?

or get under the car and hit the tank a couple of times with a bit of wood it will get you home but i bet you a tenner it wont last long

you have got it fixed by now but this is for anyone else.
lift the back seats, there you will see a 6inch dia black lid type gromett. remove that with a screwdriver. under this you will see the pump. unscrew the black ring that holds it in, disconnect the pwer lead and the fuel lines. lift out the pump. hit the silver drum bit with a hammer and then put it back in . i bet you £10 it will work.
