overheating?

car overheats is it that my thermostat sticking, or is the rad blocked,when car is ticks over with rad cap off the water flows out.

On Puntos I would recommend checking your coolant thermostat. Once off the car this can be tested by using hot water to see if the thermostat is opening.Thermostats are relatively cheap. If thats ok then the water pump may be suspect or indeed a blocked or defective radiator. However from your post it would seem your coolant system may be getting pressurised ie head gasket problem???
