escort 1.8d fuel pump immobisied,can it be undone?

replaced fuel pump,re-charged battery,engine wont start, immobilised, i think.

hi i am haveing just the same bother. turns out the old pump is coded to the inobiliser. i drilled the sheer bolts secureing the electrics to pump and swaped them over. it now starts but wont run rite atall. as if it is starved of fuel
