how do i change from color to black for printing?

hi I had this problem with an epson C44 plus, in my case the setting was in under the 'advanced' options of 'select printing preferences' (doesn't seem a very advanced thing to me, but there you are) once you click through to advanced you can tick the black ink only box - maybe this will work for you.

Press Print, when you get the pop up box, choose Properties - it will be in there. Can't be more specific because you don't say what OS or printer you have.
