Tamper circuit has been tripped on optima rf system, how do i reset it

Bit of history, my future brother in law took the front access panel off this i take it has triggered the tamper switch inside, so now internal alarm sounds and external sound for 20 mins. I have removed mains fuse a disconnected battery at +ve terminal, how do i go about reseting the panel. Will we have to set all the zones up again and exit times etc, hope someone can help

By disconnecting the mains and battery you may not necessarily have lost the programming which may be held in memory.

The Optima RF is no longer made.
