replace a fuel pump?

how can i replace a fuel pump on a 2002 astro van all wheel drive

Fuel pump is in the gas tank and none of them are easy to replace ...drop tank and hopefully theres not alot of gas in it.
Have has some where if you take the driveshaft out it makes it a little easy but all are a pain.
