I had the same problem. I tried all the local hardware stores but no one could help. Eventually I found the same size of hose in a local industrial rubber and plastic hose supply store. It wasn't the same colour or softness but it did the job perfectly.
The problem i had after that was getting the thing to start after the winter rest. Thats why i am on here now.
Has anyone got some tricks or tips?
