my van is making a tapping noise when idle but increases when i accelerate, can you help? woman in need!!

hi, what type of vehicle is it? is there any smoke or loss of power ? and what have you checked so far? it could be some thing simple like the tappets

It can be something simple. Check your half axels (the shaft that goes from the gear box to the wheel) on it you have a “weight” that “weight” has maybe broken. You can’t see that it is broken, just grab it and try to move it. You can cut it of it does not need to be there.
