my 206 has been acting up by not holding it's revs when idle. this causes the cars engine to cut out when sat at traffic lights, junctions etc when no pressure is being applied to the accelorator.

what is causing my car to do this and is it something i can fix myself or does this need to be done professionally???

I recently had this problem, it turns out that it was the power steering switch. Got it changed prossionally costed about £70
