Question: Hello,
I have aquired a laptop that had the cooling fan replaced recently and so has the cmos battery, and the boot screen will say a error 192. When you test the systemboard, it gives you
DEV 001
ERr 96
FRU 3810
I have researched on the internet and have not yet found a solution.

Just purchased a CMOS battery to install in a Thinkpad 600. According to the online vendor, the battery replacement will resolve the 192 error. Hopefully this is a true statement. If not I'm only out $3.28 including shipping.
