Does the freezing only happen with music/videos and does it only happen when viewing/listening to media accessed from the Internet? If the answer is yes to both these questions then it's not a problem, the issue is simply that the media player will download a bit of the video and play that while it downloads some more. Quite often you will have watched the bit that was downloaded before the next bit has been downloaded. In these instances I prefer to pause the video and wait a minute or two so as to ensure that lots of the video has been downloaded before I start watching.
