rowenta model DA 80.4 won't stay on?

My Rowenta Model 80.4 will sometimes not come on and it has turned off while ironing. Can you tell me what part (s) need replacing, if any, and where to get them?

Hello

It is probably a bad set of contacts on the thermostat. They can be cleaned, but it is quite a difficult job to get into the iron.
Sometimes, a whack of the iron (when switched off), straight down onto a solid (but giving) surface will do the trick.
