How can i remove the widscreen wipers (the whole thing, not just the blade) from my Vauxhall Corsa?

Take off the cover that is covering the nut holding on the wiper. Remove the nut (i think it is a 13mm nut). With nut removed shake the wiper from side to side.That should do the trick, But if the wiper is stuck as is common just put on the nut a couple of threads and with pressure applied to the wiper tap the nut gently with a hammer taking care not to damage the nut or wiper.

At the base of the wiper blades there are cover caps that clip off and exposes the main bolts holding then on.
