can i fit new glass to the door ? or have i to buy complete new door stain less steel

mine is also 3 yrs old and has just done this - not what i would expect from a 3 year old oven made by electrolux!! not happy

my door glass slipped also,i had to buy a heat repelent silicone glue black in colour and strip the door into 2 and reseal it the glue is £10 a tube,i bought my oven from wickes they didnt want to know anything about my problem

Have just phoned Electrolux in ref to the inner glass coming away from the oven door. They said they normaly cover products up to 2 years, but as a guesture of good will they will arrange for a local company to come out and fit a new door free of charge. Thumbs up to Electrolux even though it is a model fault and they should have been recalled.

i rang moffat, part of electrolux on 01582 491234. i explained that i knew this was a design fault and they sent someone out the next day. he arrived just to take the model number and said he'd be back in a few days with a replacement part, free of charge. happy days.

Same here, glass has just separated from the inside of the door. This is the Moffat MSF615 model.

It seems we have the same problem. The inner glass has come away from the top. The oven is 18 months old. Could this be a design fault?
