how do i fix my blower motor on a citroen picasso 1.6 (2001)?

My motor only operates at full speed, it will not function correctly at speeds 1, 2 or 3. Also where under the bonnet is the motor sited?

Hi My fan also working on top speed. Resistor faulty - one from main dealer £30! But it comes in a nice steel cage about 2" square. Local garage - not Cit Dealer tried to fix it but couldn't get in from driver side but hands too big - will try from glove box side next week.

I have exactly the same problem on 2004 1.6HDI Picasso. OK found and removed the heater unit, Is the ressitor the metal object left in the tubing? If so, how do you remove it? Thanks.

Your heater resistor is faulty, you need to remove the glovebox and the motor is sited in the center on its side, take it out and the resistor is in the pipe feeding air from outside.
