How can i fix my citreon xsara picasso?

My air conditioning and heating won't work in my picasso, can anyone advise whats wrong with it? ive checked the fuses but they are ok...please help...whats wrong? and advice how to fix it....without paying garage costs.

Do you mean the blower wont work or just the ac or both? The igniton switches were favorite for packing up on these.
