plz its doing my head in can anyone help is there a way do stop the alarm sounding off after i lock the car up

just thought i would post this as my alarm was driving me barmy that if you take your battery lead off(positive+) then put it back on and lock the car with key this resets alarm and then after this the alarm will stop sounding then keep pressing the fob till it works as it works on a codec system, p.s hope this helps you

i think i done it all i do now is lock the car with the key then unlock with the fob then lock again with the key touch wood it havent gone of yet 2 days now
