Bosch Dishwasher SMS9022GB/14 Soap Dispenser Door Won't Shut?

Can anyone help please, the soap dispenser door won't click shut. The spring appears to be working but after many attempts the catch will not stay in place to keep soap dispenser door shut. With thanks & in hope

Mary, ours has been like it for years, just put the tablet in the bottom, do not use prewash/rinse.
New assembly is £50

best thing to do is change the dispenser as the latch spring has more than likely brocken. dispensers are not that expensive really
