One of the ceramic heat plates have no glue left inside them and keeps on falling out when in use. You can imagine its quite difficult to always have the one falling out flat as not to fall out when trying to straighten my hair. Is there such a thing as a glue able to withstand the temperature to hold the plate in position?
I have the same problem! Did you by chance find a way to repair it?

Hi
You need a high temperature glue to repair the hair straighteners. ovendoorglue.co.uk make a kit for repairing hinges and brackets that have broken off the glass oven doors. This glue can obviously withstand high temperatures and is strong enough to hold a piece of glass in place on an oven, so may well do the job for you.

Not an answer of how to fix them but broken GHD straighteners sell very well on ebay (to people that repair them).
I sold my wifes broken ones and that funded about half the price of a new pair, which was about similar in cost to getting the original ones repaired.
